MIAMI - The official launch of the Zackery Lystedt Brain Project was made today at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Participating in the announcement were Dean Pascal J. Goldschmidt, M.D., Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs and Dean of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine; Dr. Gillian Hotz, Co-Director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Concussion Program; Dr. Lee Kaplan, Chief of the UHealth Sports Medicine Division and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine; Patrick B. Donohue, Esq., Founder, The Sarah Jane Brain Foundation; and Dan Henkel, Senior Director of Communications, American College of Sports Medicine. The announcement was made on the 7th floor of the APEX Auditorium in the Lois Pope Life Center.
