Who Is Zackery?

Zackery Lystedt is a 17-year-old from Washington who sustained a debilitating brain injury playing football in 2006 after returning to play too quickly following a concussion.  In May 2009, Washington Governor Christine Gregoire signed a measure named the “Zackery Lystedt Law” which mandated the adoption of policies for the management of concussion and head injury in youth sports.
